Description

This loop trail links an old A.T. route with the current A.T. and privately conserved land. Start at the top of the Happy Hill Road on the blue-blazed William Tucker trail, an old woods road that was formerly the A.T. This trail reaches the A.T. in 0.8 miles. From here, turn right to hike southbound on the A.T. for 0.2 miles to the stone Happy Hill Shelter. To continue on the loop, turn left instead and hike 1.4 miles on the A.T. to the junction with Cossingham Road. Stay left until you reach Bragg Hill Road. Turn left again to turn onto Happy Hill road and continue on for 0.5 miles to your car.

Please keep pets leashed while walking through the Cossingham pastures.
