The River Walk surrounds and extends both to the east and west of the Champlain Mill. In Winooski's downtown, the River Walk is an attractive concrete walkway along the Winooski River Falls, ending at the woods where dirt trails begin.
The River Walk opening in 2006 was a significant milestone in Winooski’s downtown revitalization project.

Off Main Street in Downtown Winooski, near the start of the Winooski/Burlington bridge. Parking is available behind the Millyard Condominiums on West Canal Street. There is also trail signage and tiny parking lot at Route 15 and railroad tracks.
