The Ruth Shepard Trail is a short, accessible link connecting the Northern Rail Trail to the Lebanon Memorial Pool. It was developed in partnership with Lebanon Recreation and Parks, Upper Valley Trails Alliance, Eagle Scout Will Sagraves, Tuck Trails, and community volunteers.
The trail is well-built and easy to follow, but please note that from the pool there is no signage indicating the trail entrance, and access requires navigating around a locked gate on a cross-slope with grass, which may limit accessibility for some users. Once on the trail, the short distance and gentle grade make it suitable for a quick and pleasant connection between the pool and the rail trail.

Trail conditions can change without warning. Trail last assessed: 7/30/2025
