Description

Although most of the trails at Sugarbush are closed during mud season, the paved Sugarbush Access Road path remains open.

Sugarbush provides multiple hiking trails from the base lodge to the summits of Castlerock Peak and Lincoln Peak. A loop is possible by following the Long Trail south from Troll Road to Jester. There are also over 20 miles of lift-served downhill mountain biking trails from the top of the Super Bravo Express Quad leading to the base of Lincoln Peak (not shown on map, for more information on the downhill trails, visit the Sugarbush website). Take care on the shared-use trails and be aware of your fellow trail users. The hiking trails are not open in the winter.

The Warren House trail loops through the forest below the base lodge. Snowshoeing is also allowed on this trail in the winter.

Sugarbush Resort is located in the heart of the Green Mountains and spans the Monroe Skyline and a section of the Long Trail System encompassing more than 4,000 acres. At Lincoln Peak, you’ll find a little more than half of Sugarbush’s ski terrain from wide groomers to classic New England ski trails leading to the Lincoln Peak Village. Amenities include multiple base lodges, resort lodging, onsite restaurants, retail and rentals, and full-service ski and bike shops. Sugarbush operates under a special use permit with the USDA Forest Service on the Green Mountain National Forest.
