Description

Redfield Trails are primarily old woods roads with a grass and dirt trail surface. Riders will enjoy stunning hardwood forests dense with ferns and beautiful views to the west and south of the Taconic Mountains. Quiet users may see wildlife along the trail. The trail tread is dirt and wide but aerobic capacity is challenged on this trail system, especially on the big outer loop. The best way to ride these trails is in a clockwise direction. In good snow years, these ungroomed trails are ideal for cross-country skiing.

The landowner has graciously opened his trail system to public use; please respect his private residence.

Trail Tips

Minimize Campfire Impacts
