The trail consists of two loops sharing a middle segment. There are two small bridges around 300 feet into the trail, on the section closest to the playground, but they are on ground level and are well maintained. This section of trail also has some overgrown areas. These trails are used for outdoor education and for cross-country running meets.

Swasey Central School is located off of NH-111A in Brentwood. This trail runs directly behind the school. The two entrances are located near the far end of the rear parking area: one is in the left corner of the field and the other is about halfway between the larger playground and back left hand corner. The large back parking lot of Swasey School is available for parking, but trail use between 8:30 am and 3:00 pm while school is in session is not permitted.
