Pittsford Recreation Area Trails
There are six trails within the town Recreation Area. Primary trailheads are accessible off Furnace Road through the main gate of the Recreation Area, behind the Pittsford Congregational Church on the Village Green, and behind the Municipal Offices off Plains Road. Trails cut through woodlands, open meadows, and pine groves. Sections of the Orange Trail and Green Trail follow the Sugar Hollow Brook through woods and wetlands. Walking is easy to moderate. Short sections of the White, Blue and Orange Trails are moderately steep.
