The Landon Farm is owned by Phelan and Kelsey O'Connor, who operate their business Pigasus Meats on the property. The 170-acre farm is comprised of approximately 100 acres of farm fields and 70 acres of woodland, consisting mostly of mixed hardwoods. The woodland is host to a low-impact public access trail, and is managed by South Hero Land Trust and Lake Champlain Land Trust.
Vermont Land Trust holds a conservation easement on the property, and Lake Champlain Land Trust holds an easement for a public trail, which they maintain in partnership with South Hero Land Trust. SHLT also runs a small gleaning garden at the trailhead.
Hours: Dawn to dusk
Dogs are welcome but must be leashed at all times.
Horseback riding is allowed, but horse-trailers are not allowed to park at the trailhead, so horseback riders must find an alternate location to park.
PLEASE NOTE: This trail is closed during rifle season every fall/winter. Please check season dates with the VT Department of Fish & Wildlife. The trail may be closed temporarily at other times, to allow farmers to perform essential farm or forestry activities. Please respect all closure signs, they are for your safety and that of the farmers.

From US-2 northbound, cross the sandbar, go past Apple Island Resort, then take a left on Landon Road. The trailhead is 0.6 miles down on the right.
There is a flat gravel parking lot with space for about 6 cars. The entrance to the trail is marked with a kiosk.
