Jericho Mountain State Park provides opportunities for miles of trail riding for ATV, UTV, trail bike and snowmobile enthusiasts. The majority of the over 70 miles of trails are built for ATV/UTV use, with the exception of the 4x4-only, Run to the Hills Trail. Riders can ride through varied and interesting terrain to multiple viewpoints and picnic areas within the Park boundaries, or connect to points north and south on adjacent trails.
Run to the Hills Trail (4x4 only)- The trail is 2.5 miles long and is estimated to take 3.5-5 hours to complete. Vehicles enter through the main parking area at the Visitor Center on Jericho Lake Road. There is an additional cost for this trail. Vehicles are required to have a winch, modified tires and other modifications. The North Woods Off Road Club (NWOR) built the trail, with State approvals, and is performing the trail maintenance. The trails are open to the public during the Visitors Center hours of operation. Drivers need to check in at the Visitor Center to get the gate opened. The gate will close at approximately 5pm during the summer, to allow vehicles to get out before the park closes at night.
Campground - The campground at Jericho Mountain State Park is open early May through the end of October and offers cabins, tent sites, shelters and RV sites. Reserve sites at ReserveAmerica.
Beach - There is a day-use beach at Jericho Lake. Parking is limited. Reservations (only available online) are recommended, particularly on summer weekends.
