Description

Head downtown from the Edward Finn parking lot and cross NH-16 at any of several crosswalks to face the direction of traffic. Follows sidewalks past the center of town, town common, playground, and the residential area of lower Main Street. Cross the Peabody River on the US-2 highway bridge. Here, a dirt shoulder provides a softer path next to Gorham's Country Golf Course.

At the railroad track crossing bear right onto Bangor Street. Near the end of Bangor Street the route crosses the Peabody River on a cabled pedestrian bridge. Bear left at the end of the bridge and then take the next right up a short steep hill to the NH-16 crossing onto Promenade Street. Near the end of Promenade Street head downhill on Church Street, cross the tracks then take the next left onto two short side streets ending back at the Edward Finn school.
