Description

This paved bike and pedestrian path connects the Barre Town School and recreation/athletic complex to the village of Lower Graniteville. It is approximately 10 feet wide and meets ADA standards. There are benches along the trail to use. From the school, the path runs through the woods in the direction of Compo Street, and over the historic pony truss bridge.

Parking is available at the Barre Town School off of Websterville road and the First Presbyterian Church in Graniteville. Both provide accessible parking spaces.

this trail is good for all ages and abilities. it is a paved trail with no surface issues and it has grass edges so you will not get hurt if you go off trail. There is many parking places but the best one with bathrooms is at the rec field behind barre town elementary school but the bathrooms are not wheelchair accessible. i am a blind hiker and i have no issue with this trail. The trail does not have any benches and it is mostly open so there is a lot of sun on this trail. PLEASE NOTE THIS TRAIL HAS GOOD AT&T cell service.
