Description

The outer loop trail (Cadwell Trail) provides and easy walk with two short uphill climbs. The trail passes through fields and meadows, meandering along Otter Creek, Furnace Brook, and a lagoon. Beaver, otters, turtles, fish, ducks, birds, and wildflowers abound in the varied habitats along this trail. The Phillips Trail is a small loop trail with great views off the larger Cadwell Trail.

The Cadwell Trail links to the Meadow Loop (a 1.6-mile route to the northeast) by following the connecting trail and bridge indicated by the sign at the intersection with section of the Cadwell Trail east of Elm Street.
