Cole Brook Trail is located on forested land conserved by the Town of Plainfield with additional easement stewardship by the Upper Valley Land Trust. The trail has two entry points off Cram Hill Road (an unmaintained Class VI road) which connect to create a single trail that follows Cole Brook through a stand of Eastern Hemlock before climbing a moderate slope through mixed hardwood forest and tall pines to reach an entrance through a rock wall to meet Moulton Trail, which will bring you west to Meriden Village via the Meriden Bird Sanctuary's Baynes Trail.
