The Shelburne River Park is one of more than 45 properties preserved by the Lake Champlain Land Trust. Since 1978, the Lake Champlain Land Trust has preserved the lakeshore and natural areas of Lake Champlain, including thousands of acres and miles of shoreline.

Lake Champlain Land TrustFrom Shelburne Village, travel north on Route 7 over the bridge crossing the LaPlatte River. Immediately after the bridge, turn right onto Webster Road and after 50 yards, turn right and park next to the park. Portage canoes and kayaks across the park's grass picnic area to the river access launch site.
