Description

Two miles of trails located right in Hinesburg's Village Center. Pleasant and rolling trails suitable for a variety of uses, including mountain bikes. Some parts of the Perimeter Trail and some of the interior sugaring trails are suitable for horses. The Russell Family Trails are part of the the Hinesburg Area Recreational Trails system.

Other Information

Please do not park in the Lantman's parking lot, as there are an insufficient number of parking spaces for Lantman's customers. Also, the Russell family has generously conserved these trails for public use - please respect the farming operation by closing the pasture gates behind you, as farm animals may be grazing in the fields.

Trail Tips

Dispose of Waste Properly
Keep the Twin States (Vermont & New Hampshire) green and clean! Pick up trash, even if it's not yours. Leave soon-to-be trash like excess packaging, stickers, and twist ties at home.

Trailhead Information

From the Hinesburg Town Hall, travel south on Route 116 for 0.3 miles. Then turn left onto Lyman Meadows Road. Follow Lyman Meadows Road for 100 yards. Turn left onto Lyman Park Road. Follow Lyman Park Road for 100 yards into the gravel parking area (facing the back of the Catholic Church). To access trails, cross Lyman Park fields in a northeasterly direction to the trailhead located just beyond the baseball diamond.
