Description

The NVRH Loop Trail is a machine-built 1+-mile mountain bike trail maintained by the Caledonia Trail Collaborative. The trail begins behind the Community Garden and playing fields, winding in a series of two rolling loops through the woods. It begins with Paul's Path to Paul's Loop, both beginner trails. The second loop, Willis Kimble Loop, continues on and is rated beginner/intermediate.

Plan Ahead and Prepare
Be prepared for emergencies. Pack extra clothing, food, and water and also a flashlight, first aid and repair kit, matches/fire starters, whistle, signaling mirror, and pocket knife.

Trailhead Information

From St. Johnsbury, travel 2 miles north on US-5, and turn right on Hospital Drive for the Northern Vermont Regional Hospital. The trailhead is located at the back of the hospital grounds, behind the Community Garden and playing field.
