Description

A variety of loop options stem from the wide John's Glen Trail #9. To the right near the Clearwater Drive trailhead, loops circle three evaporation ponds, which are crowded with Canada Geese in the summer. Midway along the trail, just beyond the ponds, is an open area with a yurt and toilets. Farther on, the trail rises and falls towards its connection with Deer Path #8. Part way on this stretch, a branch to the right provides access to the Blueberry Loop, Craig's Corridor #11 and the Balsam Loops. The narrower Blueberry Loop circles out to a vista of the Bog Brook wetland. Craig's Corridor #11 connects to Deer Path #8. The Balsam Loops are laid out over a glacial kame, and include a short spur to another overlook of the Bog Brook wetland. All of the John's Glen trails except the Blueberry Loop are groomed for skiing.

Connector Trails: John's Glen Trail #9 and Craig's Corridor #11 connect to Deer Path #8 a short distance from each other. There are "You are here" signs at these intersections.
