Featuring a short lollipop loop to and around a scenic pond and access to a historic mill site, Gardner Wayside Memorial Park is an ideal place to get out of your car and into nature.
Butterfield Pond Trail: From the parking area, cross the bridge over Kimpton Brook. At the intersection with the Mill Site Trail, continue straight uphill. In 0.5 miles the trail reaches Butterfield Pond, and travels 0.9 miles around the pond
Mill Site Trail: From the parking area, cross the bridge over Kimpton Brook. At the intersection with the Butterfield Pond Trail, turn right and continue along the Brook for 0.1 miles to the old mill site.

New Hampshire State ParksFrom Wilmot, continue west on NH-4A for 4.6 miles. Look for the State Park sign on the right side of the road just before the Springfield-Wilmot town line. The park is located just off the road.
