The trail traverses mostly level ground or rolling hills. There is a pond on the right shortly after entering the woods (when traversing clockwise) and then the trail climbs through a wooded area up a gentle incline and descends to another pond in a meadow surrounded by pines. Often there are waterfowl on the pond. Much of the rest of the trail is in open fields before returning to the original pond.
