Description

Sand Hill Park is a small trail network that winds through a shady forest of mostly pine, with a collection of wildflowers lining the trails. Consisting of two loops and a spur trail, these trails began life as an exercise trail. Some of the exercise stations are still visible along the trail, however, they are not maintained and may not be safe to use. The trails begin at the northwest corner of the parking lot adjacent to the town pool and tennis courts. The trail soon divides into a white-blazed spur to the right, an orange-blazed loop in the center, and a blue-blazed loop on the left. A trail leading to Mathieu Town Forest splits off at the far end of the latter loop.
