This trail is a fairly flat and smooth, with few rocks or roots. The trail is well-maintained and easy to follow, but it is not marked very well. There are a number of loops and trail spurs which can trail use here confusing. The trailhead off of the dirt road can also be hard to find. The best way to find it is to look for the “No Vehicles” sign which is white and nailed up high on a tree.

There are no motorized vehicles allowed at any time on this trail. Cross-country skiing, hiking, biking, and horses are allowed, but bicycles and horses are not allowed during mud season and fat bikes are not allowed during ski season. Do not step in cross-country ski tracks. All the trails off of Old Gordon Road are on private property so please show respect and stay on the trails.

Trailhead Information

To get to this trailhead, take NH-111A and turn onto Haigh Road. Old Gordon Road will be on your right. The trailhead is off of the dirt road portion of Old Gordon Road. You can park on the side of the road where Old Gordon Road becomes a dirt road. The dirt road has a blue Class VI sign at the end. Walk down the dirt road for about 0.3 miles. At 0.2 miles, a private driveway branches off to the left. Continue straight on the Class VI road for another 0.2 miles to the trailhead. The trailhead has a white sign that says "No Vehicles" visible on the left-hand side of the road high up on a tree. After you pass the driveway, the Class VI road also becomes a Class A trail which leads to Crawley Falls Road.
