Description

The Forestdale Natural Area contains two miles of woodland trails in an area bounded by Allen Martin Parkway, Saxon Hollow Road, Alder Brook Road, and the Circ Highway. This natural area provides a welcome haven from the bustling town growing up around it. Within the Forestdale Natural Area can be found significant stands of trees, spring wildflowers -- including painted trillium, trailing arbutus, hepatica, and wild sarsaparilla -- and also wildlife.
