The park is undeveloped, except for the Sweet family homestead, a public parking area and a foot trail. The 1.0 mile Sweet Pond Trail circumnavigates the pond - a loop hike of 1.5 miles is possible by following a section of Sweet Pond Road back to the trail head.
(note - Sweet Pond is currently dry - the pond was drained due to safety concerns regarding the dam.)

The Silk Farm Wildlife Sanctuary includes trails through forests, along fields, and down to Turkey Pond. Trails cross land owned by NH Audubon and St. Paul's School. The sanctuary is adjacent to the NH Audubon state headquarters and visitor center, the Susan N. McLane Center.
